Hello, I’m Mark Birch. I have been working in the field of hair loss, scalp disorders, and hair health for over 40 years. I was born and raised in West London in a family of hairdressers, which sparked my interest in hair and scalp care from an early age. I qualified as a trichologist in 1985 and also completed my City & Guilds hairdressing qualifications.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life and from around the world—from members of royal families and professionals in the entertainment industry to individuals simply seeking help for hair loss or scalp concerns. To me, every client is equally important, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their journey towards a healthier scalp and stronger, healthier hair.

My work is built on experience, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for helping others. Today, I am also a Fellow of the respected Asian Society of Trichologists, but what matters most to me is being able to provide every client with personalised support, professional expertise, and hope for better hair days ahead.

In my free time, I enjoy following a variety of sports and regularly go running several times a week.

Hello, I am Tuija, a U.S.-trained clinical trichologist, registered nurse, and have also studied biomedical sciences. My particular areas of interest include the biological mechanisms of hair growth, growth factors, hair and scalp disorders, and overall scalp health.

I have worked closely with Mark for several years in clinical practice, education, and product development, and have also trained hair and scalp professionals throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a psychiatric nurse, which is why I place great importance on understanding the emotional impact that hair loss can have on mood, self-esteem, and overall wellbeing. Through my virtual clinic, I consult with clients from around the world, and I believe the best results are achieved by combining professional expertise, personalised care, and genuine compassion.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my dog and heading out for long walks together.

Hello, I am Jan, a biomedical scientist specialising in cell and molecular biology. My professional interests focus on the biological components of blood, growth factors, and their potential role in tissue regeneration and supporting healthy hair growth.

I work in laboratory operations and product development, while actively following the latest research in hair biology and regenerative medicine. In addition to my scientific work, I am involved in visual marketing, and music has always been an important part of my life.
