DAILY SHAMPOOING

THE HEALTHIER THE SCALP, THE BETTER THE HAIR GROWTH!

Scalp is very sensitive, having large oil glands and hair follicles, hence it is important to take good care of it. The best conditioned hair and scalp is washed once a day with a shampoo suitable for your type of scalp and conditioner suitable for your type of hair. If for some reason daily hair wash is not possible, try to keep the interval as short as possible. The more frequent, the better.
On a daily basis, the scalp produces sweat, oil, bacteria and dead epithelial cells, which produce scalp residue. Also, combination of different factors such as hair products, pollution, dust etc. cause residue on the scalp. Think of your face or body, would you wash your face only twice a week? most likely your answer is no, the same applies to your scalp.

Important things to remember when choosing a shampoo and washing with it:

Shampooing should always be carried out in a manner, which does not cause damage to the scalp or damage the hair.
Wash your hair with pH balanced shampoos and conditioners and rinse the hair thoroughly. Rinsing is the most important part of shampooing and often the part most neglected. Failure to rinse even mild shampoo properly results is sticky, dull looking hair and possible scalp irritation and inflammation.

Shampoo pH:

If you have problems with a scalp disorder, dandruff, flaky, itchy dry scalp or eczema on your scalp, your scalp may be sensitive due to the harsh chemicals you are using in your shampoo. It is also likely your scalp and hair are too alkali.

This means you are using a product that has a high pH value, above 7 and it is stripping away the naturally acidic sebum that fights bacteria. Lower acid pH shampoos may also help the frizzing and breakage, this is why a good pH balanced shampoo is important

  • If you have used a permanent colour or dye, straightening or relaxing solution, your hair is chemically processed with a high alkaline solution. It is then neutralized with a high acid solution, so some of the dye and colour can build up residues on the scalp.
  • If you have curly hair then your cuticle is partially open. It is important for people with curly hair to return their hair to slightly acid pH level. Open cuticle prevents natural acid sebum to keep the entire hair at the pH 4.5/5.5

-Choose natural products! Avoid chemical based shampoos, conditioners, and styling products.

-Protect your hair and scalp from chemicals, pollutants and everyday environmental toxins.

-pH balance of shampoo should be between 5 to 7.

Triple Action Scalp Therapy Shampoo is an effective every day shampoo. It is mild, contains no harmful chemicals and has therapeutic effect for scalp disorders due to its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial and fungicidal properties.
